Prescription Service

We offer our registered patients repeat prescriptions if we have reviewed them within the last 6 months. If you require a renewal of a prescription you need to complete and return a form about the medication, and we can then send the script to your designated place. For new patients requesting prescriptions, an initial consultation will be necessary.
Telephone Consultation
£50
83% of diagnosis is achieved through history taking (Summertone 2008). Telephone consultations are useful to review patients who we have initiated treatment for or to discuss recent test results. We are also happy to take a history on the telephone before making plans on the next steps whether that be initiating a treatment plan or arranging a suitable time for examination.
Health Screen
From £450
We offer bespoke Health Screening / Wellperson Checks. These include a pre-assessment questionnaire returned a few days prior to the appointment, taking a detailed history, family and social history, full examination, urinalysis, basic lung function, ECG and baseline blood tests. Other investigations and tests are available if indicated. Onwards referrals are included if clinically indicated.
Joint Injection
From £150
Joint injections are a quick procedure that can help improve pain control in appropriate patients with certain conditions that are not responding to other treatments. A consultation with the doctor shall determine suitability. Areas considered include shoulders, knees, De Quervains tenosynovitis, trigger fingers, thumb arthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome.
Long COVID Consultation
From £200
Dr. Martins offers a Long COVID consultation to those suffering from the debilitating symptoms following COVID infection. She has been working in the Local Long COVID service since it started in May 2021 and has developed first-hand experience in managing this new condition. Dr. Martins will listen to you and offer support and ways forward. Her assessment includes a complete physical, mental, and social health review.
